As a model (from Middle French modèle), sometimes called mannequin, I as a person am looking to be employed to display, advertise and promote commercial products (notably fashion clothing) or to serve as a subject of works of art.
Modelling Is what I aspire to distinguish from other types of public performance, such as an acting, dancing or mime artist, although the boundary is not well defined. Appearing in a movie or a play is not considered modelling. I would very much be quite keen on trying as well.
Types of modelling I include as a potential contract is fashion, glamour, fitness, bikini, fine art, and body-part model work. Models are featured in a variety of media formats including books, magazines, movies, newspapers, and TV. Models sometimes are featured in movies (Looker, Tattoo), reality television shows (America's Next Top Model, The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency), or music videos ("Freedom! '90", "Wicked Game", "Daughters")
These are just examples of work I would enjoy getting seriously involved with.
I am looking for a modeling agency that represents a group of models which they call their model board. Model bookers (also called "bookers" or "agents") manage a model's career. Agents help a model find jobs, book jobs, give advice, and email or give copy books and comp cards to various clients they work with (a comp card is a selection of pictures printed on a card, a copy book is a scanned version of a models portfolio). Agents may send models to various clients and schedule modelling interviews (also called go and see or castings).
As a model I work without an agent but it is highly recommended for fashion/runway models to have one.As a model who is employed to increase the sales of a product.
To model clothing for all people, all types of model shapes and sizes are required. The job ranking for modern fashion models are: print (part time), print modelling (full time), runway modelling, and supermodel.
I am a experienced model looking also to represent manufacturers or stores designer clothing and fragrance ads are on the list.
Fashion models under contract after discovery by editors, cosmetic companies, photographers, and fashion industry professionals do extreme amounts of hard work that is a goal I would like to complete.

Well I love and enjoy working with new photographers in the studio space, and outdoors. Bigger and Better! The best part about studio space is the backdrops! In my experiences the lighting is perfect and air conditioning is great in studio, but a memorable photo shoot was one in which I enjoyed a fabulous rain outdoors, it wasn't the warmest for my little body but it was a beautiful clean and fresh experience. I am looking forward to having more unique shoots. One other thing that makes my heart sing, is posing in different looks never appearing to look the same way over and over again. I have many well established portfolios of my work, I'll be able to watch it grow this season. I currently have a portfolio of thousands of different looks, however I do not want to stop producing this year as I am wanting to continue to expand and grow, I have given them a lot of love and am hoping for the best.
Well, I can't believe I've came this far in business. It's been a blast and looking back I can only say WOW! Going into a new business venture is a crazy wild ride but so worth all the effort. I couldn't have done this without the support of my photographers, and when I say loving, I mean an extreme amount of love. I have only experienced great feedback and support from them and from other working professionals within the industry and it makes this all worth while. As I work my way in business I am concentrating on expanding , creating new networks and of course working hard to continue my success. If there is one thing to say, I appreciate and respect all the loving photographers I've worked with in the last few years who I trusted to get the pictures looking prosperous. I sincerely thank you for all the kind words. There is something to be said when you take the "business" out of the business and create relationships with the people who are working with you. I have met great people, in different walks of life, not once was it about "modelling", it was and will always be about getting to know my photographers, who they are, what they like, and growing inspiration from them. This is the basis of Angela Marie the model , my backbone, rock it! It's about being personal, being luxurious and always quality. On a final note, I wish all of you a new beginning in 2020 and wish the best for you and your business.
I am creating a mini office for myself to sit at while I am off typing emails, invoicing etc.
I said I was going to make serious contacts about all aspects of starting up a new modelling business. It's starting to hit home as I realize it's a huge undertaking. I always new it was going to be, but what I hadn't realized is that it's mentally draining as I find myself constantly thinking about what my new step is going to be. The business is like a baby, needing constant attention, nurturing. It's wonderful to watch it grow, exhilarating and fantastic, but just like a baby, it cries too! Filing paperwork, e-mailing or working hard to get the right kind of exposure which should only take a few hours, but it becomes an all day process. Not only is it harder being (and I know all model's will contest to this) , it's those hard feelings you get when you realize there is not a huge market in front of you. For now, I have found a routine which works for me trying to get local work for my business, which I haven't found the time to include contacting the market. Fortunately, I have marketed in k google, facebook, model mayhem business cards, and explore talent however it is time consuming and now I must find a way to reconnect my life, on a schedule. Other aspects, when they said you won't see a profit from your business for three years, they weren't kidding. Putting money right back into the business is consistent. Advertising is a huge expense, and networking are all things that need consideration. Where to put the money? Whom to advertise to? So much to think about and it at times does get overwhelming. So far, word of mouth has been the best advertising I could ask for, referrals are great! So as I continue to expand my business and grow, I'll continue to let you know how I'm doing.
It's finally time to launch my first calendar and am so excited for it. All the effort. I think it's such a unique opportunity and what a lovely way to bring in fresh calendars for the 2020 year. I made up a deck of playing cards, a poker chip and are so excited for posters. I'm thinking to kick it off, I'll have to have some given out to local business for free to get some more exposure - something along the lines of the best calendar made and produced by the model herself. That sounds so much fun, tune back in when all the details are set.
As spring is around the corner again I light up with an amazing array of ideas of horses, cars, hot tubs and bikinis. The summer is, dazzling for the beach, strong and long lasting, I dream of being under the sun and glowing into a beautiful mermaid who comes to life.
I am expressing today about my journey into this model business. It sort of landed right into my lap when life seemed a bit difficult and random, wondering what my next step was going to be. The economy crashed running business alone, things got a bit dicy! It was a year of hard work and determination. It hasn't been easy as some aspects were not good in a time of wondering when the next big job was going to be!, but I fell in love with it and its been a place of love and new door openings! At times it seemed it wasn't the place to be, no one was hiring, most had been closing their doors, so I turned back to my love of just going ahead anyways and let my pictures do the talking for me! I began getting some, contacts from sources, but as I expanded my basis, I did some local networking and I continue to work hard to launch my little baby business into a furry! It ain't easy, to run a small business, plus work a full time job but with the right determination and the right skills (a little patience and a lot of hard work!), anything is possible! So here I am, a few years in business and I must say, it has been going great. I have had great responses from people around the world and even professionals from Australia and Covergirl. People, and professionals who have worked in the industry for years have been seeing my image and it gives me great pleasure and gives my strength to keep going, even if my life is being crazy today! OR the day just doesn't seem long enough to get everything done! I hope all of you will follow me on my journey, I will be continuing my future and all aspects of starting a business in a poor economy, and I hope this inspires you to jump into whatever it is in your life that makes sense, makes you happy! Modelling makes me very happy and I am proud of doing it.
I also take the steps of preparing for a shoot by producing my own hair, make-up and wardrobe. I also have incorporated props which turns out good.
I hope to get into acting, singing, auditioning, travelling getting ahead in life.
